Just a 20 minute train journey from Manchester city centre,
and you can catch the Charlatans live in the intimate surroundings
of Warrington's Parr Hall. Along with the Stone Roses and
the Happy Mondays, the Charlatans were part of the baggy
Madchester indie-dance scene and have since transformed
themselves into revered Britpop songcrafters. One of the
most popular English groups of the 1990s, their organ-led,
melodic approach is a hallmark of the Manchester sound and
certainly worth watching! |
