The Last Shadow Puppets, a collaboration between the all-conquering
Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner and pal Miles Kane from
cosmic Scousers, The Rascals, started after Kane's previous
outfit, The Little Flames, toured with the Arctic Monkeys.
Their atmospheric string-laden debut album, 'The Age Of
The Understatement', was clearly influenced by Scott Walker's
early solo works, and gave Turner his third UK number one
abum.
